This higher flowpromoted by this design is ideal for use in agglomerate reduction andthe production of fine emulsions.

When a media mill is used to finish a product in a single pass, the PMModel can most often eliminate the need for the mill altogether. When the product requires multiple passes in a Media Mill, experiencehas shown the PM can reduce milling time by up to 50% of that which isnormally required. Cycle times of 15 - 30 minutes are typical.

The PM Model is designed as a batch mixer and is mounted on aconventional air/oil hydraulic lift system. Several models areavailable from 5 through 200 HP.
Typical applications are found throughout the process industries andinclude chemical dispersions, fine food emulsions, condiments, cosmetics, adhesives, etc.

The primary advantages of the PM include:
o Excellent flow and product movement of the batch.
o Creation of a dual vortex above and below the rotor/stator.
o Rapid incorporation of powders
o Shortened batch times.
o Reduction or elimination of the need for secondary equipment.
