	HSS steel manufactured using powder metallurgy compared to conventional method has many advantages: Powder Metallurgy steel is prone to less chipping than conventional High Speed steel because it has more uniformly distributed particles which are smaller It is also more tough compared to conventional Powder Metallurgy improves grind ability of the tool without any reduction in wear resistance Powder Metallurgy has Greater consistency in multi-spindle machines, where several spindles are affected by a single cutter failure higher alloy grades can be produced by PM PM Unlike carbide has high removal rates by taking chip loads and heavy depths of cut More consistent tool performance by PM will reduce machining time and increase productivity
